The Challenge: Waste Management Automation in Dark Stores
Blinkit presented us with a real-world problem that their dark stores face daily: Waste Management Automation. Dark stores are essentially mini-warehouses optimized for quick online deliveries, and efficient waste management is crucial for maintaining hygiene, reducing costs, and ensuring smooth operations.
Problem Statement
- Challenge: Automate waste segregation and management in Blinkit's dark stores
 - Goal: Improve operational efficiency and reduce manual labor
 - Impact: Enhance sustainability and hygiene standards
 - Technology Focus: IoT, Automation, Data Analytics
 - Time Limit: 24 hours to ideate, develop, and present

Our Solution: SafaiNova
Our team developed SafaiNova - an intelligent waste management automation system specifically designed for dark store environments. SafaiNova combines IoT sensors, machine learning, and automated sorting mechanisms to revolutionize how waste is handled in quick-commerce warehouses.
SafaiNova Key Features
- Automated Waste Classification: AI-powered categorization of waste types
